Gaining greater efficiencies in energy, water and raw materials use offers vast opportunities in China for operational cost savings and harmful emission reductions across several industries. In industrial processes, building construction and operations, or managing supply chains, three common challenges for companies to adopt more efficient equipment and services are the upfront capital costs, the financing models for such projects, and the skills and tools to execute projects and maintain qualitative measurement of efficiency gains.
Cities and companies in China can gain extensive business and environmental advantages by embracing energy and resource efficiency equipment and practices. However, developing and commercializing cost-effective solutions, finding viable financing models (e.g. ESCO (Energy Service Company), and delivering accurate monitoring and clear reporting all face hurdles due to a number of policy, market, and management challenges.
Join us for an informative evening to hear first-hand cases and advice on meeting these challenges, and leveraging opportunities across China’s energy and resource efficiency landscape. The panel discussion will use English.
